Barcelona // Cocina

We were not really expecting to get a slot here, but we did (lucky us). It was a great night at Cocina after a day of shopping around the streets of La Rambla. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the open kitchen vibes.  

but the real highlight was that he took a very cute photo of us -- a rare, rare photo, where he was actually smiling.

Marrakech // Pink Hues

I sort of dragged him here to Marrakech -- it isn't the sort of place he would come, naturally. But he did, to accompany me.

Marrakech has tons of colours, noise and reckless motorcycles (everywhere).

Lisbon // missing these egg tarts

We were walking, getting lost around town after a relatively heavy lunch. 

But of course, a snack was needed still. We were in Lisbon, afterall.

There was some cinnamon-y fragrance, and the insides was wobbly, warm.  

The crust was thin and crispy, very delightful.

It was so delightful, we packed 2 more for post nap snacks. 

We were at Manteigaria - Portuguese custard pies factory.

And it is the best Portugese egg tarts, ever.
